We contacted Bright Services late in the afternoon, and even after hours, Deven’s wife called me back—she was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She originally offered to schedule the work for Friday, but knowing water was coming in, Deven reached out first thing in the morning and had all the gutters and the ice dam cleared within two hours.I’m genuinely amazed at how smoothly everything went. The work Dave (cleaning) and AJ (staining) did on the deck was outstanding.The only issue we had was how the swatch in the SW brochure doesn’t come close to the actual color in the can and on the deck. Bright Services does a good job warning its customers of this possible discrepancy but nevertheless, we now have a deck that is NOT the color we were hoping for. Even if Bright Services came back to us with an offer to fix this issue, we wouldn’t know which color to pick given the brochure swatches don’t match reality. Perhaps Bright Services could make their own color board, swatches of each color on wood to show clients what they’re actually getting. Either that, or go with a different stain brand who’s brochure actually reflect what you’re getting.
