The work Dave (cleaning) and AJ (staining) did on the deck was outstanding.The only issue we had was how the swatch in the SW brochure doesn’t come close to the actual color in the can and on the deck. Bright Services does a good job warning its customers of this possible discrepancy but nevertheless, we now have a deck that is NOT the color we were hoping for. Even if Bright Services came back to us with an offer to fix this issue, we wouldn’t know which color to pick given the brochure swatches don’t match reality. Perhaps Bright Services could make their own color board, swatches of each color on wood to show clients what they’re actually getting. Either that, or go with a different stain brand who’s brochure actually reflect what you’re getting.

My first interaction with Bright Services was with the owner, Deven. He promptly came to my home and gave me an estimate as well as a wealth of information on deck staining and my various options. At first, I had a bit of "sticker shock" when I got the estimate. However, I had a very good initial impression of the company, so I went ahead and put down a deposit and signed the contract.
